"Clarity gives specialist attention to special places"
With houses of worship, we understand that audio visual and digital organ systems need to be thoroughly researched in design and fully supported through to end user training. This is due to specific needs and unique spaces, and importantly because the congregation often fund projects personally. Therefore, we strongly recommend having expert advice from initial consultation to solution options, installation and systems integration, above and beyond community volunteer help, particularly in this fast-changing technology environment.

We offer a complete service from consultation to training. Our comprehensive analysis and design work includes SPL mapping or full 3D acoustic rendering. In the design phase, blending technology with aesthetics can be crucial to ensure that technology does not impact on the beauty and calm of sacred spaces.
We have vast experience in providing quality live stream systems that are easy to use, and which have played a major role during Covid-19 times, in keeping congregations connected. |

St Paul’s has played a key role in Dunedin’s CBD Octagon area and for the City’s people, for over 100 years. Dean, Dr Toni Curtis, wanted to bring the Cathedral into the modern age audio wise and future proof for the next fifty years, whilst caring for the building’s heritage/masonry. Toni looked to England’s York Minister’s new d&b system as being the dream result.
Clarity and NAS Solutions ran with these needs and dreams and undertook extensive modelling with the building, to arrive at a solution to provide optimum performance, whilst caring for the specific acoustics and aesthetics. The high-end York Minster d&b system was re-designed to suit St Paul’s and every meter of visible cable and speaker were painted to perfectly colour match and blend into the masonry. The modelling paid off as all involved thought the coverage was fantastic and the aesthetics were left uncompromised. |

This project brief was to cover 24 parishes, over 30 houses of worship, with investments in each around technology infrastructure, over six months. With each parish occurred a specific needs analysis and resulting design around their specific budget. Solutions ranged from live streaming to sound systems, video projection and office computers. The logistics for such a large and varied project were complex, compounded with covid and supply issues, however the challenges were met and the Diocese was thrilled not just with the result but the long term working relationship and service given.
“On a personal level, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mark and the team. He is friendly, warm and always available when I need to ask a question,” Brad Wood, Communications Manager, Nelson Anglican Diocese. |

Clarity director Mark was absolutely thrilled to be given the contract to provide consultation for audio visual services on the restoration project of the national iconic Christchurch Anglican Cathedral. Mark has a personal long-standing relationship with the Cathedral and its community since playing its pipe organ as a young organ scholar and being part of the choir. Mark’s familiarity with the building and audio design skills are being utilised as he continues to provide services to this project. |

This iconic Roman Renaissance Francis Petre building, built out of the legendary Oamaru stone, was equipped with a latest d&b audiotechnik sound system and Epson projection, in 2021. Working with NAS Solutions, Mark Patterson led this ambitious project which needed to cater for pulpit sermons, wireless microphones for musicians and choir, projection for congregation needs, capturing it all on live stream and for equipment to blend in with 100-year-old stonework. Incredible clarity of sound in speech presenting and music play, along with meters of cabling, projectors, and speakers becoming almost invisible, are the key outcomes. |
