Christchurch Anglican Cathedral Restoration.
Clarity director Mark was absolutely thrilled to be given the contract to provide consultation for audio visual services on the restoration project of the national iconic Christchurch Anglican Cathedral. Mark has a personal long-standing relationship with the Cathedral and its community since playing its pipe organ as a young organ scholar and being part of the choir. Mark’s familiarity with the building and audio design skills are being utilised as he continues to provide services to this project.
St Patrick’s Basilica, Oamaru.
This iconic Roman Renaissance Francis Petre building, built out of the legendary Oamaru stone, was equipped with a latest d&b audiotechnik sound system and Epson projection, in 2021. Working with NAS Solutions, Mark Patterson led this ambitious project which needed to cater for pulpit sermons, wireless microphones for musicians and choir, projection for congregation needs, capturing it all on live stream and for equipment to blend in with 100-year-old stonework. Incredible clarity of sound in speech presenting and music play, along with meters of cabling, projectors, and speakers becoming almost invisible, are the key outcomes. The Lone Star group
Clarity director has enjoyed a sixteen-year relationship with the Lone Star franchise. The franchisee owner of the new Alexandra Park Lone Star was needing a sound, visual and security camera systems. After servicing and providing solutions for seven other Lone Star’s, Mark knew exactly what solutions would compliment their brand and client environment. “I can confidently say that if you were to contract Clarity for an installation you will get a great result and a finely tuned sound at its completion,” Andrew Jackson, Music co-ordinator Lone Star Franchise.
The Edgar Centre, Dunedin.
The brief for this stadium was to cover 18 basketball courts with clear audible sound for players and spectators. The Edgar Centre is a vast building with a challenging acoustic so building on the success of using the Indesign Music Horns at Westport Stadium, these speakers were used in a tailormade design for Edgar. Consideration had to be made to work around customer use of the building with minimum interference on business. Over 1000 meters of cable and many up and downs on the scissor lift later, Ryan and Mark had the stadium humming and the clarity of the sound impressed the manager and customer alike.
Pulse Energy Recreation Center, Westport.
Manager Phoebe was recommended to contact Clarity through Sport Tasman as there was a tight budget to work from in rejuvenating their whole centre’s sound system. The swimming pool area, stadium area with dual multipurpose sports courts were equipped with Indesign Music Horns and the fitness centre was fitted with Sound Tube speakers and the gym speakers got a new amplifier. The whole system is controlled via the English brand Cloud’s DCM1E, a digital multizone control system. When the speakers in the stadium were fired up, Phoebe was over the moon with the result.
