The Clarity team combines many years’ experience in the audio visual industry. With a plethora of specific expertise in technologies and visual, soundscape skills. As a team and through engaging specific contractors, Clarity is able to undertake a wide range of projects and provide optimum outcomes.

We all live and breathe audio visual in and out of work, it is who we are.

MARK PATTERSON

Director/Owner

Having spent 20 plus years in the audio-visual industry and being a self-professed sound, lighting and music junkie since a young boy, I live and breathe quality sound, visuals and music. I began my career in sound engineering working on national concert tours, theatre productions, festivals, running a sound and lighting hire company and performing myself as a professional pipe/digital organist. I expanded into visuals through becoming a specialist lighting designer for corporate installations and entertainment venues. I am now proud to own Clarity and realise my dream of offering customers a real quality alternative in the marketplace.

SARAH

Business Development Manager

Over the past five years I have enjoyed providing support services from marketing, re-branding to policy making and quality control, to Mark and the team. I use skills gained from my varied management roles across several sectors, and accomplishments in economics and business studies, to underpin the role I undertake. I am thrilled and proud at the solid reputation our team and business has established in the marketplace as an independent player. It is exciting to see the continued growth of this customer centered business.

Senior Technician -Project Lead

I have been in this game for over 30 years, and during that time I have been involved with pretty much everything to do with AV:
Live audio engineering, studio recording, design and installation of commercial and domestic audio and vision systems, lighting control systems, automation control and integration MATV systems, nurse call systems.
My experience covers design and installation, plus sales and administration to management level.
I have a BSc from Otago Universtity, plus numerous certifications from brands including Crestron, Vantage, Philips Dynalite, RTI, to name a few

AV Technician

I have a career in the audio visual and entertainment industry spanning 30 years. My specialisation is in providing equipment and technical support for large scale national events, outdoor and indoor. From stadiums to festivals and corporate suites, I have extensive knowledge and experience in sound and lighting gear and obtaining results for the client. I am a keen guitarist and still play in a band: audio visual is my lifestyle!

Junior AV technician

I can often be found behind a mixer or lighting controller and in recent years I decided to pursue work in the audio visual industry. I love how every job is different and meeting the challenges of figuring out new gear.

COLLABORATORS

Design & equipment specialists

Clarity collaborates with sound and visual design specialists of specific equipment technologies and products, in order to ensure accuracy of knowledge on product functionality, suitability to task. Clarity has and can partner up with related industry providers, architects, building/project management companies, for large scale projects.
